Modified on: Fri, 15 Nov, 2024 at 10:31 AM

The main difference between Anker's magnetic and non-magnetic wireless chargers are listed below:

  • Magnetic attraction: Magnetic wireless charger can align the wireless coil easier and attach to the device to charge.
  • Compatible devices: Anker’s magnetic wireless charger is compatible with only iPhone 12 and 13 series phones that have Magsafe; The non-magnetic wireless chargers are compatible with Qi-compatible devices, such as iPhone 8 and newer models, Samsung S6 and newer S series phones, Pixel 3 and newer models, etc.
  • Compatible phone cases: Anker’s magnetic wireless charger supports only magnetic phone cases; the non-magnetic wireless chargers can work with a phone case that is less than 5mm and without metal attachments, pop socket, keys, or credit cards due to interferences.
