How does eufy Baby Smart Sock work when the baby is sleeping?

The Sleep Tracking Algorithm
eufy Smart Sock tracks the baby’s current sleeping state by detecting the baby’s movements and heart rate. Please note that the data will be slightly delayed when the baby is asleep, but the data are accurate and will be uploaded to the Dashboard in the eufy Baby app after the baby wakes up.
Note: The sleep tracking algorithm is best suited when the baby sleeps in a stationary crib. This is due to the fact that external factors will affect the accuracy of your Smart Sock’s sleep tracking algorithm, such as when the baby is sleeping in a moving car, stroller, or baby carrier.
Sleep Status
The baby’s sleep status can be further divided into the following categories:
- Light Sleep or Calm - When the Smart Sock detects that the baby is either gradually falling asleep or sleeping lightly.
- Light Sleep or Wiggly - When the Smart Sock detects that the baby is moving slightly or sleeping lightly.
- Awake or Moving Around - When the Smart Sock detects that the baby is either awake or moving around in their sleep.
- Restful Sleep - When the Smart Sock detects that the baby is sound asleep.
Active/Peaceful Gauge
When the baby is wearing the Smart Sock, the Active/Peaceful Gauge will provide information about how active the baby is while asleep. This is determined by the baby’s movements for you to better understand both your baby’s sleeping state and quality of sleep.
Fall Asleep
The time when the baby falls asleep.
Sleep Time
The total time of the baby’s sleeping cycle, and it does not include the time when the baby wakes up in the middle of the night.
