How do I enable/disable the Child Lock feature?
Modified on: Fri, 29 Nov, 2024 at 12:30 PM
The child lock feature on a robotic vacuum cleaner serves as a safety mechanism designed to prevent unintended operation, particularly by children. When the child lock is activated, it disables the control panel or buttons on the vacuum, ensuring that any curious little hands cannot accidentally start the machine or tamper with its settings. This is especially important to ensure the vacuum does not start operating without parental supervision, which could potentially lead to mishaps or damage.
It also helps in maintaining the programmed cleaning schedule and prevents any unsupervised interactions that children might have with the device, keeping both the children and the vacuum safe.
You can enable/disable the lock by going to RoboVac’s Settings > Child Lock. When the Child Lock feature is enabled, RoboVac's buttons will be locked and buttons do not work when you press them.
In addition to enabling/disabling the Child Lock feature by using the eufy Clean app, you can also press and hold the Recharge button on the RoboVac for 3 seconds to enable/disable the lock.
