How to Fix WiFi Connection Issues?
Modified on: Thu, 17 Oct, 2024 at 10:45 AM
1. WiFi Connection Failed
- Confirm that the WiFi connection, account, and password in the app settings are correct.
- Use non-enterprise routers, as enterprise routers may require secondary authentication.
- Ensure the router automatically assigns an IP address. Do not set it to a static IP, as the device cannot set a static IP separately, which will cause it to be unable to obtain an IP and connect to the network.
2. Unable to Scan Hotspot Name
- Separate the router settings for 2.4GHz and 5GHz signals.
- Set the corresponding country in the app to ensure that the device and the router channel are consistent.
- Ensure the router channel complies with the current national requirements and no special channels are set separately.
3. Activation Failed
- Ensure the naming length is appropriate as there may be issues with names that are too long in the latest version of the app.
- If the network is unstable, perform a retry operation.
- Open the mobile phone hotspot, search for the hotspot in the AnkerMake app on the distribution network interface, connect, and then bind and activate the device.
WiFi Disconnection
APP:
Firmware:
- The current network channel of the router may be congested. Restart the router.
- Confirm that the router is connected to other devices and can access the internet normally.
5. Device Disconnected
If the network is abnormal, the device will be disconnected. It will automatically reconnect. If it cannot reconnect for a long time, please restart the printer..
Slicing Software Issues
1. Unable to Print Remotely
- The previous version of the slicing software did not have a synchronous automatic leveling function, causing an error when printing with one click. Upgrade to the latest slicing software.
2. Unable to Connect to Printer
- Ensure the printer device is added in the mobile app.
- When logging into the account, make sure the country set is consistent with the country set on the app. If not, reset the country in the slicing software to match the app.
3. Printer Device is Offline
- When the device is offline, the slicer and app devices cannot print remotely. The device going offline is usually due to network issues. The firmware will automatically attempt to reconnect to the network. If the network is normal and the device's MQTT service reconnects successfully, the device will automatically go online.
4. Network Cannot Be Found When Logging into Account
- If the network is unstable, a pop-up window will prompt the user to try again.
